Paranormal Task Force had the honor to assist Meramec Valley Paranormal Society (www.m-v-p-s.com)
with a three night investigation of Six Flags St. Louis (formerly 6 Flags Over Mid-America) on August
28, September 4 and September 12, 2009.

This was both a very unique and enjoyable investigation which presented a multitude of logistics that
we all learned from.  It was a great pleasure to work with some of the staff at Six Flags as well as the
investigators of Meramec Valley Paranormal Society on this challenging investigation which
incorporated both indoor and outdoor locations.  A big PTF "THANK YOU" goes out to all of them.

This general location has a past history including Native American, use as farmland (The Augustine or
Deep Springs Farms) and /or possibly part of past logging by a lumber company formed by Woods,
Christy & Co. prior to the erection of the current amusement park in 1971 which sits here now.  There
is also indication that the old "Allenton Poorhouse" may have sat upon or near these grounds at one
time as well.

A better detailed history of this Amusement Park can be found at the Six Flags St. Louis Fan Site
located online at
www.sfstl.net

Current and past employees have had paranormal encounters in several areas of the park which
range from full body apparitions, shadow figures, unexplainable voices & noises to encountering cold
spots and having that odd feeling of being watched by the unseen.

One of the oddest encounters includes the manifestation of muddy child size barefoot prints right
after wash down of an area during the middle of a night not too long ago.

The indoor activity has been focused within the parks two Theatres (The Palace and Empire) where
the employees have even gave a stage name to their special ghost and also within the seasonal
Haunted House area where the ghost sometimes converses with those inside and alone.

Another anomaly frequently encountered has been a "spook light" outdoors in the upper open fields
of the park.

A multitude of equipment was used to cover several areas within the park which included DVR
Surveillance Systems with infra red capability, various video cameras with and without infra red (night
shot), both digital and film cameras, both analog and digital voice recorders, various temperature
sensing devices, radiation detectors, EMF meters including the Tri-Field Natural Meter, motion
detectors, night vision equipment and experimental equipment including the Paranormal Puck and
Ovilus (
www.digitaldowsing.com).

The investigative groups which included Paranormal task Force, Meramec Valley Paranormal Society
and Six Flags Employees met around 8:30 p.m. and investigated until  2 a.m. or later each night.  The
investigators were split up into multiple investigation units and dispersed to various locations within
the park to conduct their investigations.

During the three nights of investigating various investigators experienced:

1. Unexplainable footsteps and other noises following them within the Empire Theatre.

2. An EMF meter sitting on a bench being moved about two inches with no explainable cause before
investigators eyes at an outside location.

3. Being touched by something unseen.

4. Seeing unexplainable shadow apparitions at both outdoor and indoor locations.

5. Seeing a full bodied translucent apparition of a female manifest inside the Empire Theatre.

6. Encountering a moving and interactive cold spot which was about 30 degrees below the ambient
temperature at an outdoor location.

7. Encountering several moving and interactive areas of EMF reading up to 10 milligauss and above.

8. EMF spikes and abnormalities were experienced in various locations with no explainable cause.

Final Analysis & Results

Four (4) notable anomalous digital photograph and  ten (10) notable audio segments were also
captured with most of them being EVP.  These will be posted to the evidence section of this
investigation very soon.

It is the opinion of Paranormal Task Force that enough unexplainable evidence was
captured and/or experienced to substantiate the high probability of an actual haunting or
paranormal activity.  Follow up investigation(s) will have to be conducted to further document specific
activity and to attempt the possible collection of additional evidence.
