Electronic Voice Phenomena or EVP is believed to be disembodied voices and/or other unexplainable communication from spirits or the unknown captured on various audio equipment. The process to capture EVP was first attempted by Thomas Edison who created a machine to communicate with the dead, referred to at the Thomas Edison Communicator, after the death of his mother. Upon his death this machine and its schematics amazingly disappeared. EVP Classification: Class A – Everyone hears the EVP and agrees it is saying the same thing. Class B – Everyone hears the EVP, but different words. Class C – Everyone agrees it is an EVP, but unintelligible. Location: Palace Theatre Lobby 1. 9:34 p.m. – Captured in the Palace Theatre lobby after Margaret had something pulled out of her rear pants pocket by the unseen. You will first hear a female voice saying “Okay, here is what you can do. Stop it, stop it, stop it …” followed by Greg saying “Okay, we’re gonna go ahead and end this segment”. Upon full analysis, including spectrograph, this is not the voice of Sandra or Margaret from Paranormal Task Force who were the only two females inside the lobby at this time. Class A EVP saying “Okay, here is what you can do. Stop it, stop it, stop it …” Class A EVP saying “Okay, here is what you can do. Stop it, stop it, stop it …” Location: Outside 2. 11:44 p.m. - Captured outside when getting ready to start and interactive investigative session. You will first hear PTF Greg announcing “If you want to get comfortable, we are going to start doing something interactive here” then you will hear him talk lower to another investigator (Sandy) saying “Do you want this or do you want to switch cameras?” Shortly after this you will hear a male voice louder than Greg’s saying what sounds like “Jesus” along with a strange drum beat sound and click with the beat sound again before PTF Greg lowly says “okay”. All others were outside the pavilion perimeter. Class B EVP possibly saying “Jesus” Location: Non-disclosed Indoor Location 1. Captured inside while camera was recording passively. Class C "unintelligible" EVP. Location: Non-disclosed Indoor Location 1. 9:10 p.m. - Captured inside passively. Class B EVP possibly saying “Come play with me”. Location: Non-Disclosed Indoor Location 1. Captured inside by Ken of MVPS. You will first hear Ken ask “What is your name?” an unexplainable voice answers shortly after. Class B EVP possibly saying name. Location: Haunted House 3. 10:35 p.m. – Captured in the Haunted House. You will first hear a 6 Flags employee say “So, anyway this lady she’s never worked for us really before, she doesn’t know any of the stories because she just …” before pausing when you hear the unexplainable male voice cut in and speak partially over the employee and in the pause before the employee finishes saying “… and she’s up here working”. Class B EVP Location: An Outdoor Area 4. 11:02 p.m. – Captured outside You will hear an odd low voice which could be a background voice of another human before hearing a loud unexplainable female voice. Note, no one named Betty was there that night to be called by name. Class B EVP saying "Betty". Location: Empire Theatre 5. 12:52 a.m. – Captured in the Empire Theatre “House” area. You will first hear PTF Greg saying “… and what is unique with us is, you know, one was …” before hearing an explainable female voice speaking then PTF Greg finishes saying “… sensitive that saw it but the other one wasn’t, so if the other one saw that means anybody would have saw it”. Low Class C to B EVP. Location: Empire Theatre 6. 1:22 a.m. – Captured in the Empire Theatre “House” area. You will first hear background voices of others then PTF Sandy says “Jeremy’s back there” followed by other background voices before PTF Greg asks “Backstage?” then you will hear an unexplainable voice speaking very fast in an odd way followed by a weird lamb or sheep type sound before PTF Greg says “It’s 1:22, um we’re starting another segment down here.” Low Class C to B EVP. Location: Empire Theatre 7. 10:42 p.m. – 09_009_3_GMYERS_A07 – Captured in the Empire Theatre “House” area. You will first hear PTF Greg saying “It is September 12, 2009. It is 10:42 p.m., we are at the Empire Theatre with Linda, Matt Hendrix, Trish, Sandy and myself Greg.” During this period you will hear the background voices of the others but then will hear a very loud “cartoonish” type voice that comes out of the blue. Class B EVP. |
