PARANORMAL TASK FORCE would like to again express that this location is now PRIVATE PROPERTY.  
The County Road ends about 50 feet prior to the tunnel and everything beyond that is PRIVATE.  
Trespassing is against the law and violators can and will be prosecuted at this location.  A property
owner recently contacted us here at PTF and expressed concerns about the increased trespassing at
this location which is brining vandalism, fires and other forms of illegal activity and destruction.  The
residents and property owners of this location will call law enforcement on violators.

SATAN'S TUNNEL (WARREN COUNTY, MO)

We at PTF have removed our information concerning the infamous urban legend of "Satan's Tunnel"  
It is a shame when those within and outside our field ignore laws as well as just plain simple common
respect and continue to trespass when ample warnings were posted on this page as well as signs on
the property.  It is actions like the property owners below outline in an email to us that give legitimate
serious paranormal investigators a bad name, thus ruining it for everyone.  I do hope these property
owners prosecute anyone caught trespassing to the fullest extent of the law!  We also encourage
others with information concerning this location on the internet to respect the property owners in this
matter and remove it immediately.

"We have a serious trespassing issue here.  I'm writing to you as a representative of the property
owners around "Satan's Tunnel".  We are private people who do NOT want uninvited people
wandering around exploring the property around the tunnel, (which belongs to various people), at all
hours of the day and night.  Yes, the road is public which leads to the tunnel, but it's private on either
side of the road and beyond the tunnel.  Just because there is a drive-able gravel "road" does NOT
make it a road that anyone can drive on.  Over the years, we have tried to post "No Trespassing"
signs, but those who come to visit and explore chose to ignore them and I even caught one young
fellow prying one off a tree in broad daylight!!!  This is a problem.  We feel that if there is LESS
information on the internet about it, we will have less "visitors" to contend with and possibly need to
prosecute.  Therefore, I would respectfully ask that the page you have created for the tunnel and any
other info that you may have made public be removed as soon as possible."
