In October of 2006, Greg co-founded PARANORMAL TASK FORCE™, a not for profit organization which promotes the awareness of paranormal research and historical preservation through a variety of methods. MISSOURI PARANORMAL RESEARCH™ now serves as its non-extreme investigative and research division while other divisions will be launched making Paranormal Task Force™, Inc. a "One Stop" resource for all paranormal needs of clients, the public and other organizations. | Colby Davis - Lead Investigator Email: colby@paranormaltaskforce.com We are proud to announce that Colby is comes to PTF with a wealth of experience that will benefit our clients and the paranormal community alike. With a wealth of investigative and research experience he is a well welcomed addition. Colby did not grow up in a haunted house and had no experiences that brought him into the paranormal field. After listening to a lecture at a local community college he began to read and research all he could about the paranormal. Like many investigators his quest for answers is what got him started in the paranormal. He began his investigating career with a small group in Western Illinois and in 2007 founded Illinois Paranormal Exploration located in Champaign County, Illinois where he served as the Eastern Illinois Representative for the American Ghost Society. Colby considers one of his strengths to be teaching investigators with little or no experience or those looking just to learn more about the paranormal field. Colby’s infatuation with EVP’s came as a result of him being the producer of the paranormal talk show “Tuesday After Twilight” with the late Chad Austin and Dianna Avena. Chad was a self-proclaimed EVP junkie, an “audio master”, and Colby’s mentor and teacher in all aspects of EVP research. He feels that through EVP capture the answers to many questions involved in a specific case or the paranormal in general can be answered. He also feels that the investigator is the most important piece of equipment on any investigation. With all of the technology available to investigators, Colby feels that at times we focus too much on the high tech gadgets and not enough on the environment around us. |
