We are excited and looking forward to our 2009 Spring Festival which will be highlighted
with discussions led by Jerry Hebenstriet and Larry Boschen who were members on the
2004 - 2006 Corps of Discover retracing the Lewis and Clark Expedition.

They have the first hand experience of the adventure of exploring the great Northwest and
the map as Lewis and Clark had done in 1804.  We look forward to seeing everyone at the
Museum and displaying the new Lewis and Clark Panels the museum has acquired along
with the prints of the Lewis and Clark Exploration on loan from Jerry Hebenstreit.

There will be a demonstration on June 14th with a Verbruggen black powder cannon on a
butterfly carriage which will be fired by Richard Kroener and manned by members of the
2nd Missouri Artillery Corps.

The Living History Reenactors will be camping on the Museum grounds and a good time is
planned for all!
