| The McPike Mansion may possibly be the most haunted location in the Mid-West per many articles and media broadcast. This historic and haunted wonder sits a short distance from the St. Louis, Missouri metropolitan area in the small town of Alton, Illinois. Years of neglect and abuse were suffered by this wonder before its current owners obtained the property and achieved its successful placement upon the Historic Registers alongside other such treasures. Although its existence and life may have been saved it is in severe need of assistance from the public, other organizations and the fountain of youth to hopefully restore this wonder back to its original beauty and magnificence that it once brilliantly displayed generations ago as it sat atop Alton and the surrounding area on Mount Lookout Park. You too can be a vital instrument and assist with its life saving rejuvenation through contributions and/or attending any of the events hosted there in the future. Please help in the restoration and preservation of history for future generations to relish and learn from.
